Osaka Sushi in Augusta

This is a great authentic Asian restaurant with a specialty in Korean food. The food is always made fresh and the staff is amazingly friendly. The older lady LOVES kids so prep your little one for a joyful hug and a little attention. The couple that run this place could adopt me if I were younger and I'd eat here and interact with them daily!

Very welcoming atmosphere and staff with a good mix of Japanese and Korean food. They were great with my daughter; they had a bunch of crayons and gave her her own little cup of miso soup and rice. I will go back again.

This place always delivers. They have awesome dishes for reasonable prices, there is no waiting time even when they are busy.

I don’t normally write reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by this place! My family member picked out the place and told me it was Japanese, I found it interesting when we arrived at the restaurant and there was Korean writing on the outside. Just thought it might be that the people who own it are Korean but I was so happy to learn that they also serve Korean food. Korean food has to be my favorite kind so I ordered their “Soy Paste Soup” which lead to one of the women working there asking if I had a Korean mom and such since most Americans don’t order that, according to her. The women who work there are so kind and treat you like family almost. Now for the food.. it was so good!! Only problem (kinda my own fault) was that it was very warm but that would probably be a good thing in the winter.If you visit the place, make sure to order the soy paste soup! You won’t be disappointed.

I have been going here since 2009. The owners are a couple of the nicest people you'll ever meet and the food is awesome. Every time I pass through Augusta, I make sure to stop and eat.

Outstanding spot for tasty Japanese food. I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. The staff was very welcoming and observant. The bill was decent.

Service was good, and honestly the sushi was good. Especially the unagi nagiri, however I suppose I am more used to Americanized sushi and this was more traditional. If you prefer a more traditional sushi place you will love Osaka.

I have been here several times and always try something different. I have never been disappointed.

I’ve never been here because it looked like a “buffet” place and I’m not a fan of sushi at buffets. But this place is not a buffet and the sushi is just mind blowing. It’s so fresh and so good! The people are so nice too!!! I love it here!!!

Simple mom and pop shop. Fried rice was delicious! We shared 7 different sushi rolls that were exactly what we were craving!

Food was delicious and the older lady who works there was super sweet to my son. She cut up his food and everything lol We will definitely be back!

They have the most amazing miso soup. And the soup is free! Unbelievable.

Loved this place. Not expensive at all. They give you a menu and you check or x what you want then the server takes it to the kitchen and the wait isn't very long

Very nice restaurant with a feeling of Family in the atmosphere. Food is always spot on and traditional. Osaka Sushi is an Evans hidden gem. Thank you Osaka Sushi, for delivering a part of Japan I remember.

At the moment you enter that restaurant the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very comfortable team, it is a friendly restaurant to enjoy with friends and colleagues or with your date. delicious cooking, specialist chef de cuisine, competitive price and excellent service. Warmly recommended.

Great little local spot....food was really good.

Love this place. My 3 year old begs to go here often. Saying "I want to see Sushi Grandma" Everytime we show up the owner gets down for a hug and shouts "hey baby come see Grandma" sweetest lady. Her husband cooks and she makes the sushi. Fast service, friendly staff, just a great experience everytime. The food is delicious I recommend the Bul-go-gi and Irish roll

My mom & sis love this place. They get the sushi rolls. So I decided to get my fiancee the sashimi special for one. I dont like sushi, but wanted to do a sweet gesture. He was surprised & thankful. Said it smelled old. I don't eat it, so I was clueless. Needless to say within 16 hrs....he was throwing everything he had...up. I wont go there again

Family owned establishment for really good and fresh sushi and other various dishes. Sometimes the communication is a little rough but the owners are very nice and do their best to serve you the best they can.

Typical American / Japanese food but fantastic Korean BBQ is hidden here.

This is my new favorite place for Korean food, sushi is ok but the hits are the small Korean menu they have. This is a mom and pop shop run by a old Korean couple who are very nice. The grandma loves kids. Try the noodles in black bean sauce, it’s amazing and best I’ve ever eaten.

Staff were extremely friendly, and the food is superb!

My boyfriend loves this place, both times he has taken me were wonderful! A small establishment with a quaint atmosphere and GREAT handmade sushi! 😁
